Transition from students to professionals with job shadow day

A group of chemical engineering students from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology took full advantage of the job shadow day held on April 13 at EMHK’s Tsing Yi Terminals where they learned from their mentors on how to prepare themselves for the world of work, particularly the academic qualifications, knowledge, skillset and attitude required for joining the energy industry.

EMHK has always believed providing on-the-job training is the best way to help students to make informed decision on their career choices.  For the Job Shadow Day participants, they are encouraged to apply for temporary positions at the Terminals to start their career with EMHK.
