Pique students' interest in STEM

STEM learning is becoming increasingly engaging and interactive with the help of the rapidly evolving technology. To make an effort to nurture future STEM talents, ExxonMobil Hong Kong (EMHK) has supported A Plastic Ocean Foundation to arrange visits to the Cube O Discovery Park, a marine education centre with application of VR, AR and MR technologies for 5 local schools. With several interactive displays and fun games such as “Cylinder Mirror Maze”, students were able to gain a deeper understanding about the ocean environment and thus experience the wonders of natures and realize the importance of environmental protection.

Thanks to the support from the EMHK Recreation Club, tickets were also distributed to our colleagues and their families. EMHK will continue to support initiatives and events aimed at enhancing interest of STEM learning in youth.
