Embracing technology to provide better LPG services
ExxonMobil Hong Kong has recently launched a new mobile application “Esso LPG HK” App with an aim to provide a one-stop platform for users to access our domestic LPG information and services. The “Esso LPG HK” App allows users to get hold of timely, useful LPG related information, including safety tips and latest promotions, report their monthly meter readings, and locate the closest LPG distributors anytime and anywhere. 

ExxonMobil Hong Kong has been actively embracing digital technology to better serve customers. Late last year, a smart metering pilot program has also been rolled out for selected LPG users at Mei Foo Sun Chuen, to enable more accurate and timely gas billing. With the installation of new smart LPG metering system, the gas operator no longer needs to enter homes or request LPG users to report their meter readings as the meter reporting process is now automated. The smart metering can regularly send data of readings to the gas operator, and perform analysis to identify abnormal gas consumption and potential gas leakage, allowing prompt response actions to be taken.
