Seeding STEAM

More than 200 students from 20 primary and secondary schools participated in an iSTEAM program called the Smart Car Workshop/Team Challenging Competition, held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on Nov. 17, 2018. Students learned how to assemble smart cars and program them. Eleven ExxonMobil colleagues and their family members served as volunteer judges, while some of their kids also participated.

This ExxonMobil Hong Kong-sponsored event was designed to promote "iSTEAM” – inclusion, science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, while through emphasizing on differences in abilities between people, encouraging the children to embrace diversity, respect others and appreciate others’ contributions.
