Giving students a better understanding of the energy sector

As part of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s Business-School Partnership Programme, a group of Form 5 students from Fukien Secondary School, together with their teachers, visited ExxonMobil Hong Kong’s Tsing Yi terminal on April 13, 2018.

Following an overview of ExxonMobil’s business in Hong Kong, the students were given a guided tour of the Tsing Yi terminal, including the truck loading area, a shed for filling liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, a barge loading facility, and the main pier and outside tank area.

While the program gave students an out-of-classroom opportunity to learn more about the energy business and operations, they also had an opportunity to learn about career development in the energy sector.
