We have been operating in Hong Kong for more than 120 years, and as the needs of our customers have changed, we have changed too. Our business in Hong Kong has transformed from a trading kerosene post to a leading petroleum, lubricant and petrochemical products marketer. Our products drive modern transportation, power cities, fuel industries, and provide petrochemical building blocks that result in thousands of consumer goods.

We cater to the people of Hong Kong and Macau through an extensive network of service stations under the Esso brand. We also deliver fuels supply to the industrial and commercial customers. In addition, we are active in the international marine fuels business and operate two terminals on Tsing Yi Island.

Tsing Yi terminals

We operate two terminals on Tsing Yi Island: Tsing Yi East Site and Tsing Yi West Site.

• Constructed in 1967 with four jetties and sufficient storage tanks, the Tsing Yi East Site can berth tankers with up to 135,000 arrival displacement tons.

• The Tsing Yi West Site was constructed in 1993 with six jetties and adequate storage tanks. It can berth tankers of up to 104,500 arrival displacement tons.
